The 3 Village Art Festival is proud to announce another exciting event in the small rural village of Gresford. Gresford is located in New South Wales approximately 45 minutes from Maitland, Singleton and Dungog in the beautiful Paterson Allyn Valley.

The only two Grand Master of Photography in New South Wales, David Oliver and Peter Eastway , will be exhibiting along with many other professional and amateur photographers. Our theme of “People and Places” will bring the world through photography to Gresford. Not only will you experience incredible images, but have the opportunity to speak with the exhibiting photographers and learn the stories behing the images. David Oliver was one of the few International photographers to be invited back to Rwanda for the ten year anniversary of their horrific genocide. The images taken by David are amazing and confronting, but it is the story behind these photos that will give you a true understanding of the horror.

History is recorded through photography. We have all seen breathtaking scenery, wildlife and award winning photos and the Gresford Photographic Exhibition will be displaying many of these. An event not to be missed, the exhibition is open from Saturday 24th through to Sunday 25th September 10am to 4pm daily.

Whilst you are in the the Paterson Allyn Valley there will be many activities to keep you occupied over the weekend. Historic gardens will be open to the public, visit our natural timber workshop to find that exclusive piece of furniture or stroll around our newly opened historical museum. Perhaps take a short drive out to the local olive farm at Bunna Bunoo, stop for a beer at the Historic Beatty Hotel or a coffee at one of our cafés. In the evening our amateur theatre group will be performing at the School of Arts Hall and on Sunday morning the markets will be open displaying a lovely range of local produce.

Come and see what Gresford has to offer – it's worth the trip!
