Itinerary

September 22nd to 23rd Thursday 10-4pm Friday 10am- 2pm
Pre viewing for community service groups and retirement villages. These groups are invited to visit the exhibition in their own time to alleviate the congestion that will occur on the opening weekend. These groups will need to book for their allotted time. Viewing times with morning tea will take approximately 1.5 hours

September 23rd– 6pm. Red Carpet opening function. People will be interviewed and photographed on the Red Carpet as they enter the hall. Champagne, wine and beer as well as great finger food will be available throughout the night. An auction of many photographs, well below their normal retail price, wine and other gifts will take place at approximately 7.30pm. The night will finish approximately 8.30. The Beatty Hotel will keep the kitchen open for visitors who may want to call in for dinner. Kitchen closes at 9pm.

September Saturday 24th 10am – 4pm. Main Exhibition opens for the public to view close to 100 photographs in various sizes by 15 professional and amateur photographers.

Sunday 25th 10am-4pm. Main Exhibition opens for the public to view close to 100 photographs in various sizes by 15 professional and amateur photographers.

Natural timber Furniture:-Situated right next door to the Caltex Service Station at 24 Durham Street, East Gresford. Approximately 3 minutes drive from the exhibition. All Natural wood Furniture is made onsite sourced from local timbers. You can buy a timber cutting board or a unique piece of furniture for you home. The products made here are equal to, if not better than handmade furniture anywhere else in the country. Viewing time approximately 30 minutes. No entry fee.Open 10am-4pm Sat & Sun

BunnaBunoo Olive Farm:-This is situated approximately 10 minutes from the exhibition on Fishers Hill Road, come in from the Summerhill end side if you want to minimise any travel on a dirt road. BunnaBunoo is a large farm producing a great range of olive products, soaps, oils and of course their beautiful olives. Take your time here and enjoy their warm hospitability, learn how the olives are crushed and the oil extracted. Viewing time approximately 1 hour. No entry fee.Open 10am-4pm Sat & Sun

Historic Hotel Beatty:-This is located at the end of Durham Street East Gresford 3 minutes drive from the Exhibition. The Beatty is a country hotel with country hospitality and good pub food. It’s a great place to sit and rest after a busy day with a cold beer in front of a warm fire. Gresford Amateur Performing Arts:-Will be performing “Cirque Solame” There is a performance on Saturday night the 24th September arriving at 6.30pm for a 7 O’clock start. Tickets are $20 each with a light super. Alcohol will be on sale at the theatre. This is a great fun night put on by a very enthusiasticgroup and always receives rave reviews on all of their performances. The show is on at the Gresford School of Arts Hall in Park Street, East Gresford just 100 yards down from the Beatty Hotel. Bookings can be made to Denise Sellens on 0249389144

Gresford Markets:-Sunday the 25th. The markets are held in the grounds of the Beatty Hotel in Park Street, Gresford starting at 9am. The markets are run by the Historical Society to raise funds to purchase new (old) wares for the museum. The markets are always fun and carries something for everyone. Markets finish around 12 noon.
