This is also a great opportunity to introduce tourism into our very special region and display our country hospitality. We have many great photographers both professional and amateur living in the Hunter Valley and we look forward to showcasing their work.

Some of Australia’s greatest photographers have accepted our invitation to attend this exhibition. Rarely do you see the range and quality of photography works in one location. Check out some of our photographers websites.

Photographers Bio’s:-

Clare Oliver’s Bio:
"If a photographer cares about the people before the lens and is compassionate, much is given. It is the photographer, not the camera, that is the instrument." Eve Arnold.
In a world full of smart phones and social media, Clare's honest and forthright approach to photography, as summarised by Eve Arnold, is a refreshing reprieve. Clare has always been passionate about photography and fascinated by the work of her father, David. Now following in his footsteps, she is the principal photographer at David Oliver Photography and has been awarded a “Master of Photography” by the Australian Institute of professional Photography (AIPP). Her personable approach to capturing images is unique and she also finds herself in high demand as a speaker representing both the AIPP and Nikon.

David Oliver’s Bio
“Photography for me has been my Passion, and I am always on the lookout for when the Emotion, Composition, and Light come together, Henri-Cartier Bresson referred to it as the Decisive Moment.”-David Oliver
Whether it's a moment between a bride and groom, capturing an executive at her desk, or a landscape from a chopper over the middle of Australia, David views life through a lens, and at times through an aeroplane window... Sydney, London, Scotland, Ireland, Singapore, NYC, there are no boundaries to where David’s discerning clientele will take him to make sure their precious moments are captured by this sensitive and spontaneous style. David's ability to capture incredible images has been recognised not only by clients, but by the photographic profession where he is a Grand Master of Photography in the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, and an ambassador for Nikon and Epson.
“My camera is always by my side and I shoot many genres be it Landscapes, Portraits, Commercial work or Weddings. There are so many people and subjects that can inspire us to take pictures why limit yourself to one genre?”

Graham Murphy’s Bio
Graham is an avid traveller and amateur photographer who loves to capture history and feel for the culture through photography. His travels have taken him to the Amazon jungle in Peru, made history by sailing to Mawson’s Hut in Antarctica in the smallest recorded fibreglass yacht, Mount Everest in Tibet and later this year he will be riding a motorbike through Rajasthan in India and the desert of Egypt. Through photography these memories are never lost. Locally, his interest is in Landscape Photography especially the region surrounding his home in the Hunter Valley.
